It's her original character, Saphine, and was pretty much based on this cute Chibi: [link] I hadn't seen her new avatar, which I think is just so damn cute, when I started. I kind of just took free reign with most of it. It was done in photoshop with a tablet. I looked at some otter pictures on cute otters.com for quick reference (check that place out, soooo cute.) It was going to be a nighttime scene but I don't really know what time of day/night it ended up being... "Random" color time maybe.// I was going to put a magpie or a peregrine falcon (colors would have matched nicely) on her shoulder -but I started to think it would be too animal heavy then
