It feels like it's been a long time since I did anything but sketch. This took me a lot longer than it should have, and I'm still not happy with a few things- the colors aren't quite where I wanted them, and the closest grapevines are kind of... too simple- or something.. and I had huge problems with the hip area. I'm stopping myself before I start ranting.
Its just so hard to do a finished drawing after what feels like years of almost nothing.
Anyway, I thought it might be fun to do a series project. So I decided that I would do a pic of Zelda, Malon, or Marin for each of the zodiac signs for my Sisters of the Heart Fanlisting: [link] I got the idea to do something like this a while ago, when I opened it, but never really got around to starting until now. & I really only wanted to do tiny little drawings, but of course I don't know how to keep something simple. Heh X) It really turned out looking a lot like it's for Europa and the Bull (or pic another myth that's close to that one) but I don't care, it's just what I went with. It was done in Photoshop with a tablet and the full size is 2080x1303, or widescreen wallpaper size! Princess Zelda is a Nintendo Character from the Legend of Zelda series. --I feel worn out now, but it was a fun few days! :3
EDIT: Here's a link to a sheet of the working images from start to finish for this piece- it's in my scraps area: [link]
EDIT Sept. 16, 2008: Changed his front feet just slightly to hopefully help a little with the floating feel. I didn't want to change it too much from the original though. That would feel like cheating to me. I also added a 1920x1200 download size, this is a bit larger than the last downloadable size.

P.S. This is super good!!!
You are a phonominal artist!!!
Zelda luv as always
love ya gallery m8
But i feel a bit dizzy when i look at it,(fullsize that is) its so big and you need to scroll to look all over it, and that is a down side for me. still i cant help myself for loving it, great work!
I think it'd be cool if like Zelda gave up being a princess to live with Link on the farm or something.. anyways, that's what i thought of when i saw this.. Link's wifee Zelda chillaxing on a bull!
So what did you use to color it?
I took a look at the process too, and wow! You put colour in first? I've never seen anyone do that before, it's so unique!
Still this is really sweet and I see nothing wrong with your line work and sense of mass. Good job, and I hope this critique helps.
